Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Size It Up Party uses information when you visit sizeitupparty.com, play Daily or Unlimited mode, optionally sign in with Google, use the Daily leaderboard, or contact us. Size It Up Party is a browser game operated by size it up party. You can play without an account. Google sign-in is optional and is used for a public leaderboard identity and account continuity.

This policy describes the information used to provide the game, the reasons it is used, the periods for which it is generally retained, and the choices available to you. It applies to the website and game experiences that link to this policy. If a future feature introduces materially different data use, we will update this policy before or when that feature becomes available.

Information used to provide the game

Game progress and preferences

You can play without creating an account. The game may save limited information in your browser so that a Daily session can be resumed, completed rounds remain consistent after a refresh, and preferences can be remembered. This information may include the current Daily puzzle-set version, round position, revealed results, an unfinished target position and scale, completion time, recent Unlimited puzzles, display-unit preference, and whether introductory help has already been shown.

Most game progress stays on your device. For Daily mode, the service also records each first locked estimate with a short-lived random browser identifier so the completed score can be claimed if you choose Google sign-in afterward. Your browser or device provider may synchronize browser data if you have enabled a synchronization feature under your own account. Signing in does not upload unfinished target movement or Unlimited progress.

You can clear locally saved game information through available game controls or your browser settings. Clearing browser data may remove anonymous Daily progress, local result copies, recent Unlimited history, and preferences. It does not delete or reset Daily scores already connected to a signed-in account; those service records remain subject to the retention and deletion terms below. If browser storage is unavailable, an anonymous active session may still work, but restoration after closing or refreshing the page may not be possible.

Google account and public leaderboard

If you choose Sign in with Google, Google provides a stable account identifier, verified email address, profile name, and profile image. We use the stable identifier to connect your Google identity to an internal Size It Up Party user ID. We use the email address for account integrity and support, but we do not publish it on the leaderboard. Your Google profile name becomes the initial leaderboard name and can be replaced with an eligible display name.

For a Daily game, we store the first submitted estimate and resulting score for each round, the puzzle and rules versions, the Daily date, and submission time. Before sign-in, these records are connected only to a random, HTTP-only attempt cookie and are not public. If you sign in within the claim period, eligible records are attached to your internal user ID and the temporary anonymous copy is removed. After all five rounds are recorded, the leaderboards can publicly show your display name, profile image when available, Daily and Season scores, rank, streak counts, completed-day count, and completion order. Do not choose a display name that reveals information you do not want made public.

Authentication uses a necessary, HTTP-only session cookie. The anonymous Daily claim uses a separate necessary, HTTP-only cookie that normally expires after 48 hours. Google also processes information when you use its sign-in service under Google’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive your Google password.

Technical and security information

When you request a page or game resource, hosting and security systems may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. This can include an IP address, browser and device type, operating-system information, requested page, time of request, referring page, response status, and security or error events.

We use this information to provide pages and game content, maintain availability, detect abusive or automated traffic, investigate failures, protect the service, and understand whether a technical change is working. We do not ask for precise device location, contacts, photographs, microphone access, or camera access to play the game.

Gameplay and analytics information

We use limited first-party product events to understand broad game behavior. Recorded events can include whether a game was viewed or completed, which mode was used, whether a first resize or reveal occurred, whether sign-in was started, and whether a result was shared or a leaderboard was opened. A random identifier is created for the current page session so these events can be counted without storing a continuous play history in the browser. Analytics are intended to measure reliability and overall usage rather than reconstruct a person’s full play session.

Analytics do not contain free-form text, contact information, a continuous pointer or touch path, a full visual replay, raw device fingerprints, or every intermediate size adjustment. If you are signed in, the service may connect a product event to the same internal user ID used to protect Daily scores, but public profile details are not copied into the event. Any future optional analytics or advertising technology that requires consent will not be activated until the required choice is available.

Messages you choose to send

If you contact support@sizeitupparty.com, we receive the email address and name associated with your message, the message content, and any information you choose to include. A correction report may include a puzzle name, measurement dimension, suggested value, and source link. A copyright or permission report may include your relationship to the material and a way to contact you.

Please do not send passwords, government identification, payment information, medical information, or other sensitive personal information that is not needed for your request. The current Contact page does not ask for a file upload. We use contact information to understand the request, investigate it, respond, maintain a reasonable record, and protect against abuse.

Cookies and similar browser technologies

The game uses browser storage when necessary to remember progress and preferences. Necessary storage supports features you request, such as resuming today’s Daily set, keeping a revealed score stable, remembering display units, or preserving an active Unlimited session. A necessary anonymous-attempt cookie protects first-answer integrity and lets a completed Daily score be claimed after sign-in. If you sign in, a necessary session cookie keeps you authenticated and an OAuth state cookie protects the Google sign-in flow.

The initial version does not use cross-context behavioral advertising. If we later introduce optional analytics, advertising, or another technology that requires consent, we will update the relevant disclosure and provide the required choice before that optional technology is used. You can also manage storage through your browser, although blocking or clearing necessary storage may prevent progress restoration.

How information is used

We use information for the following purposes:

  • to deliver pages, puzzles, silhouettes, facts, sources, and game results;
  • to preserve requested game progress and preferences on your device;
  • to calculate and return a consistent reveal after you lock in an estimate;
  • to authenticate an optional Google account and maintain its session;
  • to let a player claim a completed Daily score after optional sign-in and publish the signed-in player’s display name, optional profile image, Daily and Season scores, ranks, streak counts, completed-day count, and completion order;
  • to diagnose errors and improve reliability, accessibility, and performance;
  • to understand aggregate use of Daily and Unlimited modes;
  • to prevent abuse, protect availability, and maintain security;
  • to answer support, privacy, correction, copyright, and permission messages;
  • to comply with applicable obligations and resolve disputes.

We do not sell personal information. The current service does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use contact messages to create marketing profiles. Creating a public leaderboard identity is optional and is not required to play.

How information may be shared

Limited information may be processed by service providers that help with hosting, security, Google authentication, analytics, or email delivery. They process information to provide those services under their applicable terms and safeguards. We aim to share only what is reasonably necessary for the relevant function.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to a valid legal request, protect the rights and safety of users or the service, investigate fraud or security incidents, or support a business reorganization. If ownership or operation of the service changes, relevant information may be transferred subject to this policy or appropriate notice.

The game’s Share Result feature creates a compact result chosen by you. Sharing uses the method you select on your device. We do not make a result public merely because you completed a Daily set.

Retention

Game progress stored in your browser remains until you clear it, the browser clears it, or a later game version retires incompatible data. Unclaimed anonymous Daily records are normally removed within seven days, and the browser identifier normally expires after 48 hours. Account identity records remain while the account is active. Login sessions normally expire after 30 days. Claimed Daily leaderboard round records are intended to be retained for up to 12 months so dated rankings, weekly Seasons, and streaks remain consistent, unless they must be removed earlier or kept longer for security, dispute, or legal reasons. Ordinary operational logs are intended to be kept for no more than 30 days. Records connected to a confirmed security or abuse incident may be kept for up to 90 days, or longer when reasonably necessary to resolve the incident or meet an obligation.

Aggregate analytics are intended to be kept for no more than 14 months. Contact messages are generally kept for no more than 12 months unless a longer period is needed to complete a request, document a correction or permission decision, handle an active dispute, protect the service, or satisfy an applicable legal obligation.

These periods are operational targets. We may delete information earlier when it is no longer needed. Backup copies may remain for a limited period until they are overwritten through normal operations.

Your choices and requests

You can play without an account. You can sign out, change your public display name, clear browser-stored game progress, change display-unit preferences, decline optional technologies when a consent choice is required, decide whether to share a result, and choose what information to include in a support message. Contact support@sizeitupparty.com to request deletion of an account and associated leaderboard records.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to ask about information we control, request access or correction, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, or appeal a decision. Not every right applies in every situation, and some information may need to be retained when an exception or obligation applies.

Send privacy requests to support@sizeitupparty.com with enough information for us to understand the request. We may need to confirm that the requester is connected to the relevant message or information. We will not ask for unrelated identification merely because a request was submitted.

Children

Size It Up Party is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Google sign-in and public leaderboard profiles are not intended for children under 13. We do not request birthdays or school information. If you believe a child has created an account or provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the situation.

Parents and guardians should consider the browser and device settings available to them. A family-friendly subject does not change the general-audience nature of the service or create a child account system.

International use

The site may be accessed from different countries. Information may be processed where the operator and service providers maintain operations, subject to applicable protections. Privacy rights and requirements can vary by location. You may contact us if you have a question about how this policy relates to your use.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. You can help by avoiding unnecessary sensitive information in messages and by keeping your browser and device updated.

Links and cited sources

Puzzle reveals may link to third-party sources so you can inspect a measurement. Those websites have their own privacy practices, content, and terms. A citation does not mean that the source operates, sponsors, or endorses Size It Up Party. Review the policy of another site before providing information there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the game, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The current version will display its effective date. If a change materially affects your choices, we will provide notice in an appropriate way before or when the revised practice takes effect.
